Designer Sussanne Khan designed the show flat of Priviera Project by Oberoi Realty in subtle shades of uber-luxury in a metropolis
Priviera by Oberoi realty is positioned a boutique project and was designed by ace interior designer Sussanne Khan. The concept of the project is based on offering comfort, convenience and privacy to the fullest and each aspect of this development is crafted to maximize the uber luxury quotient.
Talking about the project, Khan says, “The architecture is brilliantly done. I liked the way natural light filled the spaces and I could instantly think of designs and colour palette. The apartment is geometric and has straight lines, which suits my way of designing. I was very excited to do the project and loved the fact that the Oberoi team has worked intricately on design.”
She explains that the concept of her design was to showcase uber luxury but in a metropolis. “I wanted the positive energy of the place to stream through every room and spaces. The palette is kept neutral and light. I have used metal in many forms in the décor because I believe metal attracts good energy. I have also used exotic timber to give a rustic appeal to the décor.”
Her favourite part of the apartment is where she has used a heavy metal shelve. “The shelf is hanging from the ceiling and also acts as a divider piece. “It was a tedious task to place such heave shelf but it gave me immense pleasure to design that space as it was both beautiful and functional.”
The project has Indian material on the backdrop of European colour palette. The combination of colours is used to create Indian rawness and a quiet luxury. “The designing has been done in a way that the warmth of the place should flow seamlessly everywhere and make the occupants and guests feel comfortable and soak in the luxury,” she signs off.
The project is equipped with latest amenities and facilities and is located in a prime location.
